It is located about 1 mile (as the crow flies) upstream from the village of Burrell Boom in the Belize District. When you're traveling along the river, it's about 1.8 miles from the village.
The total area of the property is 20.10 acres. There are no roads, only game trails and jungle... lots of jungle. It is good, high land, no swampy areas here. Other areas along the river are used for bananna plantations. There are lots of Howler Monkeys and birds on the property so it is a bird watchers paradise.
The Community Baboon Santcuary is located in this same general area but it is quite a way upstream from this property. This property is NOT included in the protected area.
About two years ago, the property lines were cleared and white plastic corner posts were installed to make it easier to locate the property boundaries.
