Silent Mountain Guides and Outfitters is an exclusive hunting and recreation territory located southwest of Golden, British Columbia in the heart of the Purcell Mountain Range. The guiding territory encompasses approximately 1,000 sq. miles of the most pristine back country. Bugaboo Park borders the south, the Glacier National Park is to the North and lies alongside the Purcell Wilderness Conservancy. The territory is located in Management Unit 4-34. From flat rolling areas to extreme rugged mountains, the scenery is spectacular. Silent Mountain Guides and Outfitters specialize in fully guided hunts for elk, deer, moose, mountain goat, cougar, wolf, wolverine, coyote, bobcat and game birds. Hunts are conducted on foot, traditional horseback, snowmobile, snowshoes and by 4x4 or ATV. This sale also includes two handcrafted log lodges; The Southfork Lodge, which is fully self-contained with running water and hot showers, heated with a wood stove and sleeps 12 to 14 people very comfortably. This lodge is accessible by 4x4 only. And the Northfork Lodge, a short hike or ATV ride from the end of the improved road, includes electricity and is heated with a wood burning stove. This lodge sleeps 6 to 8 people comfortably. This territory is situated in a world renowned outdoor recreational destination for hunting, backcountry skiing and snowmobiling.
