Jessie’s House : A historic stone house, built about 1550, in the antique village close to
Collodi (Birthplace of Pinocchio). The house is on three levels but because it is in a hill
village sloping upwards there are two street levels. The luminous main entrance
leads to a cozy and sunny livingroom with a view of the characteric stone street
and a view of the hillside of Montecarlo and beyond. The diningroom has a glass door
which leads to a small glass enclosed terrace with wonderful views of the
surrounding olive groves and flowering fruit trees. The kitchen was built to order
using local chestnut from the forest above Boviglio. The appliances are all state of

the cantina. The house also has it’s own olive grove above in the village and a half

roof, wiring, plumbing, the stone walls have all been repointed too.
