Marcoola

Marcoola Beach is the charming original "Village" located in the beachside enclave that incorporates the Marcoola Surf Life Saving Club and the village atmosphere shops. A great place for the family, no through roads, no major through road separating the beach and residences.

The value of the area has only been realised in very recent imes - prior to the early 2000`s, it was  a beach weekender and retired parties, to a large degree, is still very much this residential type. However, the value of the beachside precinct has finally dawned, and very modest beachside cottages are now becoming quite substantial, modern and smart full time residences.

Some land sales for very modest sizes have equalled $400,000 in recent times, yet you can still buy the oriignal beachside homes for around $450,000, even cheaper on occasions. The opportunity to buy very, very well has not passed, the discovery of the area has still not been recognised, particularly when viewed in comparison with the major Stocklnald beachside develoment at Mount Coolum in a similar location close to the beach and virtually every residence is well north of $A700,000 on much smaller block sizes.
