Deer Ridge

Far from the hustle and bustle of downtown, Deer Ridge and Deer Run are located in the southeast sector of the City just south of Queensland and Diamond Cove Estates, and about 15 kilometers south of Downtown Calgary. Fish Creek Provincial Park borders Deer Ridge and Deer Run and residents thus have access to plenty of green space. 

The communities of Deer Ridge and Deer Run are predominantly single family residential and development began in 1978. The Bow River and Fish Creek Provincial Park form the eastern and southern boundaries of Deer Run. Given the amenities like the Bow River and one of the largest Provincial parks in Alberta practically on your doorstep, the housing in Deer Ridge, Deer Run, and Queensland is some of the most affordable in the city of Calgary.
