Belle Rive

These new communities lie north of the 153rd Ave, and include a band of small natural lakes which become the focal points of their communities. Lago Lindo is the most westerly of these, and is north of 167th Avenue. The other communities are further south and close to the established communities of Dickensfield and Londonderry. These communities go by several names (depending on the developer) including McLeod (which includes a Park, Meadows and Point developments), Belle Rive, Mayliewan, Ozerna, Matt Berry, Hollick Kenyon. Hollick Kenyon Lake was developed by the City of Edmonton, and was named after a famous bush pilot of the 1920s. While some developments are for first-time home buyers, tehre are several move-up communities in this area.

Schools
This community very new and does not yet have any schools, except for one public school in Lago Lindo.

Shopping
Shopping in the area is at the Londonderry Mall about a mile south of the area.

Recreation
The community has a number of recreational facilities around the lakes. There are also facilities nearby around the LaZerte Composite Secondary School, including an indoor ice arena, an indoor pool, and a running track. There are also large park areas around the community.
