Glengarry

These established communities lie between the CNR properties to the south and busy 137th Ave to the north. The community includes the nighbourhoods of Killarney, Glengarry, Delwood, Balwin, and Belvedere. The area has great access to downtown using either driving down 82nd Street or using the LRT from the Belvedere Station. Homes here date back to the 1970s and have both single-family and semi-detached homes in the mid-price range.

SCHOOLS
This community has eight public elementary schools, and three Catholic elementary schools. There is a public library to the north of the community in Londonerry Mall. The high schools for both school boards are at the western end of the community.

SHOPPING
Shopping in the area tends to be clustered along 97 Street on the west (including Northgate Mall), and at the larger Londonderry mall to the North.

RECREATION
The community has a number of recreational facilities around the Archibishop O'Leary Catholic School, including an indoor ice arena, an indoor pool, and a running track.
