Oliver

I live and do a big part of my Real Estate business in Oliver. Did you know that Edmonton's River Valley Park area is about 17 times larger than Central Park in New York! It is probably the most densely populated area of the city located just west of the Downtown core. Everything you need is just steps or a short drive away. We even have special neighbourhood buses that travel the streets taking people to the stores, etc.

There is great shopping in Oliver... we have a large full service Safeway with a gas bar, Save-On Foods with a chic neighbourhood store and Champions Grocery as main grocery stops with many convenience shops and a M & M Meat Store.

We have Starbucks, 3 Second Cups and many more coffee shops.

A full range of clubs, bistros, bars and restaurants feature everything from "finger lickin' good" chicken to hamburgers to family dining to fine dining.

We have Oliver School which features the Nellie McClung Girls' School with their smart and stylish kilt skirt school outfits, multi parks, an outdoor swimming pool and an indoor hockey rink.

You can be anywhere in the city in minutes with all of the bridges over the river and the easily navigated thoroughfares.

Did I mention golf?... we have the beautiful Victoria Golf Course down in the valley on the south side of our Oliver.

This super Edmonton district is named after one of our most colorful settlers... Frank Oliver who was the big mover and shaker in the early days of Edmonton.
