East Hill

The East Hill neighbourhood has long been the benchmark for Vernon's in town properties. It has a solid reputation as the leader for Vernon's "LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION" status. As such, the area features a variety of building types and lot sizes. There are a number of older, charachter homes on stately lots, many small post -war houses that have been the entry for generations of home buyers here, and areas that were developed in the 1970's and 1990's.

There is not a lot of new construction in this area - because the land has been occupied for many years. You will find some new construction where large lots have been subdivided, and or older homes undergoing extensive renovation.

Minutes from Downtown Vernon's shopping and service district, and only slightly farther to the North End ammenities, East Hill is a popular choice for Vernon Residents. It regularly shows in the top 3 neighbourhoods as far as number of sales transactions in the North Okanagan each month.
