Situated in the heart of Shannon Lake is Shannon Lake Elementary School.   The area is also served by the Shannon Lake Convenience Store ~ your typical friendly neighbourhood corner store.  Owner Don and his staff are very friendly and you will always be greeted with a smile.  Don's monthly newsletters are something I personally look forward to reading; his humor is second to none and he's always got a great story to either share or tell.
