Gibsons

Gibsons - Is the gateway to the Sunshine Coast, including historic Gibsons landing with it’s bustling historic working harbour. The original home of the Beachcombers a popular 1970's CBC TV Show, it is also the entry way to a water playground in Howe Sound, the inner islands of Gambier and Keats as well as kayaking, sailing, fishing or cruising. Take an easy walk through the harbor to explore life in this charming, quaint, coastal village. The public docks are home to fishing boats, sail boats and water taxis.

Gibsons, also has a great variety of eclectic art shops and galleries, unique restaurants and quaint shops making for a rich cultural diversity that includes many local artisans. International cuisine awaits or local seafood. Or sit a while on the waterfront at Gramma’s Pub. Take a book and a picnic to one of the local beaches. Spend an evening at Bonniebrook beach around a campfire or fine dining at Chasters. Perhaps a sunset dinner cruise.

Festivals and workshops are at your doorstep - Fibre Arts, Jazz, Art workshops, Farmer’s Markets, and Outdoor Music in the Park. For the active - tours, kayaking, sailing, hiking. Vist the new Recreational Centre with Ice Arena, Gym, Seniors activities and community rooms.
