False Creek North, on the downtown side of the body of water known as False Creek, is home to Yaletown, and will be an important stop on the new Canada Line rapid transit from the waterfont of Burrard inlet near Gastown and the Convention Centre all the way to the airport and Richmond.
The Roundhouse is a terrific community centre at the heart of it all, near the Marinaside waterfront towers and original Urban Fare Market.
Waterfront David Lam Park hosts the International Jazz Festival outdoor concerts, and 5 minutes further west along the seawall is the new George Wainborne Park surrounded by gleaming towers.

From False Creek North you also have several docks of the False Creek Ferries whisking you across the water to Granville Island Market and beyond. Yes you can book them for a tour. Wanna go? I never tire of this mode of transport and the views are INCREDIBLE!
Let me show you the secrets and opportunities of this amazing area of our great city. *Originally industrial land, it was transformed in the early 80's as the site of our pivotal EXPO '86. Following the fair's closure, it has been the largest urban renewal project in North America.
