Forest Hills is a very large residential area located just 5 to 10 minutes from the downtown Dartmouth core but is considered part of the Dartmouth community of Cole Harbour, Nova Scotia. It is also part of the Halifax Regional Municipality (HRM). View a map of the area.

Forest Hills is just 10 minutes away from some exceptional beaches such as Lawrencetown Beach, a surfer’s delight, and Rainbow Haven Beach with its boardwalks, changing houses and canteen.
