Centretown Ottawa Real Estate
The Ottawa River marks the northern boundary of Centretown. Canada's second longest at over 1,125km, graces the northern edge of city. The compact downtown area, where most major attractions are clustered, is south of the river. The eastern boundary is considered to be marked by the Rideau canal. To the west, Bronson Avenue divides Centertown from “west” Centertown. Finally the boundary to the south is a major highway called the Queensway which is highway 417.
In CentreTown are Parliament Hill, the Supreme Court, the National Museum of Natural Sciences, the National Arts Center, the Voyageur bus terminal and a large mix of shops, services, restaurants, night clubs, and recreational pathways for walking or cycling.
Homes
Centretown is marked by a mix of residential and commercial properties. The main streets such as Bank St. and Elgin St. are largely commercial, while the smaller ones are more residential.
