Stayner

Welcome to the Friendly town of Stayner, Clearview, Ontario. The two main arteries running through Stayner are Highway 26 and Airport Road (County road 42). We are surrounded by towns such as Creemore, Avening New Lowell Wasaga Beach Nottawa and Collingwood. We are proud to be home to two Public schools, Byng and Clearview Meadows and one Secondary school, Stayner Collegiate Institute.

Nestled in Georgian Triangle, Stayner is a part of Clearview Township, which emerged in 1994 after an amalgamation of the Townships of Stayner, Creemore, and the Townships of Nottawasaga and Sunnidale occurred. Our Town is loaded with community spirit, we have a beautiful Main Street that is mainly looked after by the Chamber of Commerce members. Many specialty stores line our main Street as well as two of our national banks, namely the Royal and TD Canada Trust. 

Stayner's central location make it a popular destination to commuters and retirees alike!  We are 1 1/2 hours from Toronto, 2o minutes from Collingwood, 10 minutes from Wasaga Beach and 35 minutes from Barries! 

We are home to one grocery store at this time, Foodland.  Our local Arena is a very popular spot with our locals, in the winter time, we have Hockey and figure skating, in the Summer time, Lacrosse.  There are many opportunities to volunteer and take part in our community, The Stayner Heritage Society, Lions Club, Stayner Kinsmen and the Stayner Chamber of Commerce come to mind.

We are proud to be home to seven churches in our immediate vicinity, namely Brethren in Christ, Community church, Evangelical Missionary Church, Anglican, Presbyterian, Roman Catholic and the United Church.  Pick your Faith.
