Welcome to Pilot Butte, “The Town That Cares”. We are a town of approximately 2000 residents, a community on the move to the future. Pilot Butte, just 8 miles East of Regina, with its quiet county ambience, many rec programs, excellent school and with its proximity to big city amenities, is a great place to raise a family.

We offer many recreational facilities, such as a community rink, a community hall, four outstanding ball diamonds-one of which has lights for night games. We also have an annual Rodeo which is held on Fathers Day weekend of every year. The Butte itself is a centre for winter fun, offering great tobogganing opportunities for families to enjoy.

Pilot Butte boasts a busy library, a senior care home, an insurance office, 2 convenience stores, 2 restaurants and a take out, a Roman Catholic Church, a number of day-care givers, a preschool, three manufacturing plants, and a riding club. Many more services are listed in our community phone book which is available at the town office, at the insurance office and at the Tempo.

Two Olympic athletes make their home here. Clayton Gerein has earned many gold, silver and bronze medals for wheelchair racing. He can often be seen on our roads and streets, training to be the champion we are proud of. Reuben Ross competed in the Olympics in Beijing as a diving competitor and acquitted himself well.
