Cabarete

Cabarete is a small hip town on the magnificent North Coast of the Dominican Republic, located only 35km East of Puerto Plata and 20km East of Puerto Plata's International Airport. Cabarete is thriving with sports and activities and host several international wind surfing and kite surfing competitions annually. Cabarete's expanse of beaches are always busy with tourists and locals involved in non-motorized water sports and sun seeking. The beach hosts numerous restaurants and bars featuring fantastic foods and fabulous wine lists.  This town boast a lively and exciting nightlife.    

Cabarete has a growing expat community as new ocean front condominium spring up almost daily.
