Sonoran Resorts began their first condo project on Sandy Beach named Sonoran Spa Resort. The Sonoran Resort developers joined together to create the most successful condominium project in Puerto Peñasco.

The first venture together proved to be quite successful. Offering oceanfront condos with unobstructed, breathtaking views Sonoran Spa Resort sold out quickly on Sandy Beach. This project of 202 condos began in late 1999 and was completed in 2001. The next project for the Development Team was the Sonoran Sea Resort on Sandy Beach in 2002. This project was offered to the owners of the Sonoran Spa prior to public sales and offerings. The clients of the Spa purchased 58 condos the 1st day. This beautiful project consists of 208 condos. One, two and three bedroom condos. Tennis Court, fitness center, convenience store, on-site management company, 24-hour security, snack shack, Aqua bar, three swimming pools to include negative edge, cascades and two Jacuzzis.

The third project from the Sonorans on Sandy Beach was the Sonoran Sun Resort. This condo project has 228 condos. One, two and three bedrooms units as well as penthouses. Sonoran Resorts broke all records on this project. Over 400 people attended this great event and the East Tower of 114 condos sold out in record-breaking time. (3 hours).

Another lottery was held in August 2006 and another 104 condos sold in 4 hours.

Fernando Anaya, Project Director began construction of this project in July 2004 and the first condo was being delivered 11 months later. This was the first project to construct both towers simultaneously, side by side. All construction the first condo was delivered to very happy owners 11 months later.

Ammenities included are; a Tennis Court, 24-hour security, on-site Property Management Company, lobby, internet, meeting room, fitness center, Aqua Bar, Sports Bar, El Catorce Restaurant and Cantina which is open 365 days a year. The property has eight large Mexican fountains and patios. This project is extremely popular with the addition of the “Zocalo” which is a patio area located inside of the Resort. When the season permits, El Catorce Restaurant is offering outdoor dining as well as live music on Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights. Sunday mornings they offer brunch and live music also.
