Voted Best Master Planned Community in America, Anthem by Del Webb is located in the North Valley, surrounded by the beautiful Sonoran Desert and nestled at the foot of Daisy Mountain.  It is an all ages, all-American town with a real sense of community.  Annual celebrations include the Independence Day fireworks spectacular, the annual Veteran’s Day Parade, and Anthem Days each spring, where local businesses and artists gather at the park to showcase their goods and services. 

Where does the name, Anthem Parkside come from?  There are 63 acres of beautiful parks in Anthem, consisting of neighborhood tot lots and playgrounds, and a big, beautiful community park right in the middle of Anthem!   It is home to the Daisy Mountain Railroad & the Adventure Playground, complete with a three level climbing castle, water play area, dinosaur dig, and equipment especially designed for the youngest of climbers.

There is something for everyone at the park, including a 4 acre catch and release fishing lake, (with an adorable duck population), 10 miles of hiking and biking trails, sand volleyball courts, a skate park, outdoor basketball courts, softball and Little League fields, soccer fields, and picnic ramadas that are great for birthday parties or just getting together to barbeque with friends and family.

The Big Splash Water Park features two water slides, a beach-entry leisure pool, a water playground, a tot pool, a 25-meter, 8 lane lap pool, and swim classes and swim teams for the entire family!  Also located just outside the Community Center, you’ll find a lighted outdoor tennis center with 6 courts.  Don’t play yet?  No problem, there are lessons available at every skill level!

Ready to move indoors for some fun?  The Anthem Community Center features a three-story rock climbing wall, full-court indoor basketball, locker rooms, a child care center, a teen recreation/game room, and the latest in fitness equipment.  Over 150 classes and activities are offered for all ages, from aerobics, to gymnastics, to music, to computer classes for kids, you’ll find whatever you are looking for! 

Team sports abound in Anthem, including basketball leagues, soccer leagues, softball and baseball.  Anthem is a wonderful place to be a kid… and a grown-up! 

Wondering about the local schools?  Located within the Deer Valley School District, Anthem has four Kindergarten-Eigth grade elementary schools:  Anthem Elementary, Gavilan Peak, Diamond Canyon, and Canyon Springs.  Boulder Creek High School is a beautiful facility and is home to the 2006 Arizona State High School Golf Championship title.  Come cheer your home team Jaguars on in football, basketball, baseball, golf, soccer, swimming, volleyball, tennis, track and field and cross country.

The North Valley Regional Branch of the Maricopa Country Library District is located right here, as well.  The Outlets at Anthem have expanded to include more shopping choices than ever before and they light up the nights each year with Arizona’s tallest Christmas tree!
