Queen Creek

Queen Creek is a rural suburb of the Phoenix metro. The Town of Queen Creek broders Gilbert to the West, Mesa and Apache Junction to the North, and Pinal County to the South and East. Queen Creek area stretches well into Pinal County following Hunt Highway until it reaches the Florence area.

The Town of Queen Creek, which is closer to the Phoenix metro area, is older and is contained by Maricopa County. The sorrounding Queen Creek 'area' is comprised of dozens of disconnected communities, the vast majority of them have been built during the housing boom from 2000-2006. Both the 'town' and 'area' will contain small pockets of farms and rural homes with livestock including dogs, horses, chickens, cows and goats.

The residents of Queen Creek enjoy the benefits of being further from city (cheaper home prices, less traffic, less noise, larger yards, Friendly neighbors, clear nights and cooler temperatures), despite longer commutes to the 'city'.
