Al Tahoe

Al Tahoe is one of South Lake Tahoe's favorite neighborhoods. The area is bordered by gorgous Lake Tahoe and the Truckee Marsh. This neighborhood's homes vary from vintage lakefront cabins to beautiful new homes with roof top decks to take in the lake views. There is a community park, boat ramps, beach and an stretch of Tahoe's most beloved restaurants including: The SnowFlake Drive In, Rojo's, Sprouts, Rude Brothers and the Mazatlan Grill.

The Al Tahoe neighborhood is a mix of long term locals some who still gather to discuss surviving the great winter of 1952, first time home buyers/tenants, condos, vacation cabins to duplexes and small apartment buildings. Anything you are looking for you can find it here within a few blocks walk to the lake. 

Old Al Tahoe (a micro neighborhood within Al Tahoe) consists of vintage cabins and was one of the first areas developed for summer cabins at the Lake. The streets are narrow often with trees in the middle of the lane and the atmosphere is quiet and peaceful. El Dorado Avenue surrounds the Al Tahoe area and the homes here front the meadow. Lakeview Avenue borders the neighborhood to the north and homes here border Lake Tahoe and Reagan Beach.
