Cerritos, CA with a population of over 50,000 people is an affluent city located approximately 26 miles southeast of Los Angeles.  It is one of the first cities in Los Angeles county to develop large-scale retail zones such as Los Cerritos Center and Cerritos Auto Square with stunning success.  Cerritos' strong tax base is clearly reflected in its facilities.  In 1978, Cerritos dedicated the firest soar-heated city hall complex in the nation.  The median price home of a single family residence in Cerritos was $749,000 according to August 2006 statistics from the California Association of Realtors.
