Westpark in Irvine, California
Westpark is located in the central area of Irvine, California with the 405 freeway on the south, Harvard on the west, Irvine Center Blvd. on the north and Culver Drive on the east. All Homes are in the Mediterranean style and range from condos to large single family homes. The oldest homes were built in the early 1970s and the newest homes were built in the late 1990s.
All of the 22 neighborhoods or tracts are well manicured. There are three Westpark parks that are available to all Westpark residents with year around pools, spas, tennis, and open park space. The Westpark residents also have access to all City of Irvine park facilities, and the Pacific ocean is a short 6 miles away in Laguna Beach and Newport Beach.
Westpark is conveniently located to transportation including the 405 and 5 freeways, John Wayne International Airport, and Metra train transportation.
Irvine is located in Orange County, California about 30 miles southeast of Los Angeles and 80 miles north of San Diego. The city was one of the first Planned communities, incorporated in 1971. The weather is mild year around with winter temperatures rarely getting under 40 degrees, and summer temperatures typically in the 70s and 80s. There is approximately 13 inches of rain annually. The City of Irvine is a beautiful community of approximately 200,000 residents. Irvine has been rated the safest city in the United States from 2004 through 2009.
