Loomis

The Town of Loomis is a quaint, small community of approximately 6300. Established in 1850 and incorporated in 1984. Loomis retains its rural character and charm with its large residential lots and custom homes, an old-fashioned downtown, and woodlands with natural streams and rolling hillsides.

Loomis is a wonderful place to call home. Loomis is immediately adjacent to I-80 and between concentrated development and vast tracts of open space. Loomis is close to shopping, nature, recreational opportunities, and a wide variety of businesses. Located just 25 minutes from Sacramento, 10 minutes from Roseville. Loomis residents enjoy the serenity of the countryside, while being close to all the amenities of a large metropolis. Loomis is just 15 minutes from Folsom Lake and a little over an hour away from either Lake Tahoe or the San Francisco Bay.
