Borrego

Borrego Springs, CA is a small low-desert community in Northeast San Diego County.  Surrounded by more than 650,000 acres of the Anza-Borrego Desert State Park, this great town will have limited growth.  Year-round residents number approx. 3,000, growing to nearly 9,000 between October and May with the return of our "snow bird" residents.  You can travel to Palm Springs, Temecula, Imperial Valley or San Diego in less than 2 hours. 

Beautiful dark, starry nights; no smog; no traffic lights and lots of nice people.  Good restaurants, hotels/motels, schools, golf courses (public & private), shops, grocery store, gas stations--everything you need for year-round or seasonal living.  Oh, and affordable housing too.
