This is a sampler of the wonderful Sebastian area
and it includes a small cross section of what is available
in the Sebastian area.

Sebastian had it's beginnings as a sleepy little fishing village.
It now has grown to a popular family town with around
20,000 residents. It is a popular Retirement haven with many
part year residents. The close proximity to the famous Sebastian Inlet make it a natural for ocean and deep sea fisherman.
Boating, swimming, surfing, canoeing, kayaking and so many more activities are available right in the Sebastian area.
There are a number of wonderful FREE ocean beach parks available
with FREE parking, a pleasant surprise. 
A number of the Sebastian homes are located on freshwater canals
and even though they do not have ocean access they do allow canoeing and kayaking.
The area has a number of conservation areas and some homes border some of these lovely nature preserve areas.
Almost all the roads are paved and people enjoy their evening walks and bike rides. There are a number of small neighborhood parks. Sebastian government is by council-manager and aggressive code enforcement keeps the area and the property values desirable.

The Sebastian area has two local full service hospitals providing personalized state-of-the-art medical and dental care.
