Vista Lakes is a beautiful, master planned community situated around several lakes, and located in Orlando, Florida, which is the county seat of Orange County, Florida. Vista Lakes is located in east Orlando, and is within a few minutes drive of Orlando International Airport, Florida Hospital East, Lake Nona and Medical City, as well as major highways, downtown Orlando, and the attractions. The community contains retail shops and restaurants, dental and physicians offices, as well as banks and service providers.
Vista Lakes consists of fourteen neighborhoods. Eleven have single-family, detached homes (1531 total) and several are gated; two have condominiums (two properties-Horizons-which is gated, and Central Park, with a total of 414 units), and one (Gentry Park) has 240 townhomes. The condominiums and townhomes have their own associations, and are governed by a different set of rules than that of the single family homes. You may visit the link to VistaLakesFL.com to see the list of all of the governing documents.

Vista Lakes has a Residents' Club that has three pools and a pavillion (one of the pools even contains a water slide). There are two additional public pools, two lighted tennis courts, soccer and little league fields. Your family can also enjoy four parks, a lakeside trail, paddleboats, and boatdocks. The community offers its residents a variety of scheduled activities and special events throughout the year, and posts all important information on their website, VistaLakesFL.com.

Vista Lakes has two preschools, Primrose School at Vista Lakes, and Kindercare. There are also two "A" rated schools, located within the community boundaries, Vista Lakes Elementary, and Odyssey Middle School. High schoolers attend either Colonial or the brand new Lake Nona High Schools, which are both located within a few minutes ride by car or schoolbus. The community is close to the University of Central Florida, Valencia Community College's east campus, and several other institutions of higher learning.
