Savannah’s Historic District is a 2.5-mile walking district full of bistros, quaint shops, green squares and grand architecture.
Savannah boasts one of the largest National Landmark Historic Districts in the United States, featuring historically significant buildings, including examples of Federal, Italianate and Victorian architecture.  Savannah’s 22 squares form the heart and soul of the historic district and are considered to be the city’s precious jewels.
The historic district is briming with boutiques, galleries, and specialty shops that offer an endless assortment of antiques, artwork, apparel and gifts. Broughton Street, Bull Street, City Market and River Street are but a few must-see areas.
