Born and raised in the northwest suburb of Bloomingdale, John moved to the Wicker Park/Ukrainian Village area of Chicago @ 935 N. Hoyne in 1999 and currently resides in the Lincoln Park area. He graduated in 2002 from Robert Morris College in Chicago with a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration (BBA) with concentrations in Finance, Accounting and Management. John received numerous accolades for his academic and athletic abilities in the college ranks where he excelled in baseball as a pitcher, first baseman and designated hitter. From 2002 to 2005, John worked in finance as a loan officer for two prominent mortgage brokerages. Consequently, he gained invaluable knowledge of real estate financing, leverage and negotiation.
In 2005, John dropped anchor at 1003 N. Damen Ave. in the Wicker Park/Ukrainian Village area where he co-founded Krain with Peter Breitlander. They have made their stake in the Chicago marketplace by partnering with only the best service providers (attorneys. inspectors, title companies, banks and general contractors) and by providing their client's with service and information of current and/or future market conditions to aid in an educated decision making process.
