What makes a Summerlin Specialist?  When I first moved to Summerlin 6 years ago, I was offered the chance to take courses offered by the Howard Hughes Corporation.  I attended enough classes to earn their designation of Summerlin Specialist.  I spend time and upgrade my knowledge all of the time.  I am proud to live and work in this awesome master-planned community. 

Since the development began in the late 1980's, Summerlin has become home to nearly 100,000 Southern Nevadans who enjoy an unparalleled quality of life in this well thought out city.  Summerlin has been the nations best selling community for the past decade.  It has earned its place as "America's Community."

Summerlin is situated along the western rim of the Las Vegas Valley.  It is shadowed by the Spring Mountain Range and Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area.  It is a stunning, highly functional, vibrant, community where residents can live, work, play, learn, and live in harmony with nature, their neighbors and their families.   

Summerlin is unfolding in "Villages" on land acquired by Howard Hughes in the 1950's.  It is one of the nations largest contiguous properties under single ownership that is adjacent to a major metropolitan area.

The Summerlin Community is multi generation and abounds with parks, trails, sports fields, golf courses, and natural open areas.  

Summerlin has more educational choices than any place in Las Vegas.  It has nearly two dozen public and private schools, as well as three institutions of higher learning.  

State of the art health medical services,infrastructure for technology and cutting edge communications, houses of worship representing many faiths, a growing array of retail, dinning, and cultural facilities that are the best in the Las Vegas Valley.  Summerlin has set a high standard for community development locally and nationwide.  Summerlin has become home to a number of national and local businesses that choose to make Summerlin a place to work as well.
