Lake Ridge

Lake Ridge is one of Northern Ocean County's most popular gated 55+ communities.  The beautiful club house is the center of activity.  It features a large ballroom for dances, parties, meetings, plays, musical performances, bingo, movies, etc. (we even vote there!)  There is a catering kitchen, fitness center, men's and women's locker rooms with showers and saunas, library, craft and game rooms, billard room, indoor pool, large outdoor pool, tennis courts, bocce courts, shuffleboard courts, a basketball hoop and horseshoe pit.  The annex offers more meeting space and houses our community newspaper, The Lake Ridge Views.  We have two lakes which are home to an assortment of wildlife.  There are clubs for just about everything you can imagine.  We have very active golf, bowling, tennis, pool, bocce and shuffleboard leagues, both day and extended travel opportunities, men's, women's and singles clubs, card and mah jongg groups, various dance and exercise groups, fishing club, garden clubs, choral and theater groups, craft and art classes, etc., etc.  You could never be bored unless you want to be!  The newcomer's club may be a great place to start, as they will give you detailed information about all of the many clubs and activities available to you as a resident of Lake Ridge.
