Southern Chase at Bent Tree is a fairly new community. Homes began to go up in 1998 and there are approxiamately 150 homes, predominantly owner occupied. This is the type of community where people greet each other warmly and look after each other.

Being one block from SouthWest Guilford Elementary, Middle School and High School (Click Here for school's performance ratings) , there are usually a number of kids enjoying themselves nearby. And because there are a number of parents close by, there is a low incident rate of misbehavior.

Everything you need is nearby. Just minutes away are two major grocery chains competing for your business, Food Lion and Harris Teeter. There are a number of restaurants for any budget. And your bank is close by, no matter who your bank is! For entertainment for all ages, you can visit Palladium Cinemas, a newly built, 14 screen theatre. And it was conveniently built next to a Starbucks, Ben & Jerry's, and Office Depot.
