Maple Ridge is one of Tulsa's oldest neighborhoods dating back before statehood to 1905, when it was still considered Indian Territory.  It is rich in history with such notable oil magnates as Waite Phillips, W.G. Skelly, and J. Paul Getty all making it their home when Tulsa was known as "The oil capital of the world". 

Maple Ridge was also the first subdivision to have housing regulations in the state of Oklahoma.  However, you will still find various forms of architecture including: Prairie, Gothic Tudor, Georgian Revival, Federal and Colonial Revivals, Italianate, Neo-Classical Revival, Jacobean, Bungalow, and Cottage Styles.
