Bay City

Bay City is a quaint little town located just 4 miles north of Tillamook. Bay City was incorported in 1910 and sits just off Highway 101 in Tillamook Count. This quiet town features peacefulness with Tillamook Bay views. The median age in Bay City is just over 42 years old.

             

When you want property in Bay City, you can find a large range of prices including homes in a gated community. Enjoy the lovely Al Griffin Memorial Park  in Bay City like the locals do. You can bar-b-que and even camp in the park for a night or two. Don't forget to stop at the Tillamook Smoker Outlet Shop to get your beef jerkey. Be sure to stop in and get some oysters, too. If you like art, you can find an abundance at the local art gallery or create your own at the art center.

If you build or buy a home overlooking the Bay, you can watch the fishermen (and women) fish for Salmon, Steelhead, and Sturgeion. Or you could enjoy these past-times and more such as clamming and crabbing. The Pacific Ocean is less than 12 miles away in Rockaway where you can fly kites, stroll on the sandy beach or beach-comb for your favorite treasures.
