Caldwell

Welcome to Caldwell, the "Kolache Capital of Texas".  Caldwell is a small town located between Houston and Austin.  We are approximately 30 minutes from Bryan/College Station and 25 minutes from Brenham.  We offer the best of country living within minutes of the big city amenities.  Caldwell's population is around 3,400 and growing. 

Caldwell is within 200 miles of 85% of the total population in the state. Close to major cities and their amenities, yet far enough removed to not experience polluted air and traffic congestion. On two major Texas highways, two mojor railways, close to a regional airport and close to 2 major universities.

We have a varity of resturants and antique shops. 

Some of our local attractions are the Burleson County Czech Heritage Museum, Kraitcher House Museum, Burleson County Historical Museum, Caldwell Visitors Center Museum and the Somerville Area Museum.

Caldwell has an extraordinary park "Davidson Creek".  It has walking nature trails, baseball parks, basketball courts, horseshoe pits, fishing pond, fountains, soccer fields, a concert pavilion and a playground.
