Sunrise Beach Village

Sunrise Beach is a peaceful village perfectly situated on the shores of Lake LBJ.  There are 5 waterfront parks with multiple boat ramps and a small airport.  Across the lake from Granite Shoals and Highland Haven, this quiet town has approximately 1400 homes and 700 permanent residents.  Many waterfront homes are vacation properties with owners coming primarily from the Austin and San Antonio areas.  One of the highlights is Sandy Beach, where crowds literally beach their boats in the sand and gather to swim and mingle.  Always a popular retirement spot, Sunrise Beach is seeing a resurgence of youth investing in vacation homes.  T-Mart is a great hardware and general needs store in town.  There are 3 restaurants for local dining and Kingsland is a short 8-mile trip for all your needs.
