Spectacular Mazama Washington is 13 miles (21 km) northwest of Winthrop and about 28 miles (45 km) from the Canadian border.

Located on the eastern flank of the famous North Cascades Mountains and Pacific Crest Trail, Mazama is a recreational mecca for outdoor enthusiasts with a diverse community and unique ecosystem to match.    Mazama is home to one of the world's longest cross country ski trails, stretching for 120 miles (193 km) and running through the town itself. 

Besides all kinds of skiing and winter sports, visitors and residents alike enjoy world class hiking, mountain biking, river rafting, and mountain climbing.  Mazama sits at the gates of a vast wilderness that is comprised of numerous adjacent National recreational areas.  My family has made our home in Mazama for almost two decades, and I would be delighted to help you learn more about why Mazama is considered by many as the jewel of the Methow Valley.
