Stevenson Washington is located about 45 miles East of Portland, Oregon in Skamania County in the Columbia River Gorge. The population in the city of Stevenson is about 1200  with a total of 10,833 population in all of Skamania County. The communities in Skamania County are Stevenson (County Seat), Skamania, North Bonneville, Carson, Hemlock, Stabler, Home Valley, Mill A, Willard, Cook, & Underwood.  I lived in Stevenson for 6 years and have seen this town go through many changes. It is a much nicer town now than when I lived there. I am familiar with the town and area.
